We inspected this property in May of 2007 and found it to be in very
good condition. The grounds are manicured to perfection with great varieties
of birds and plants to enjoy. The staff is very well trained, cheerfull
and helpful. The rooms are quite comfortable with all amenities one would
expect in this class of property. We dined at a beach party that had
some of the best Jamaican food we had on the trip. I hope you like Jerk!
This is what is called a Super Inclusive Resort and they really mean
it. Hobie Cats await you, scuba diving off one of their meticuloulsy
maintained boats. Massages with your partner, pedicure, manicure, 24
hour room service, laundry and with a no tipping policy! You can offer
a lot of value for your meeting, seminar or exhipition.
It's sits adjacent to the famous 7 mile Negril beach which is lined
with small restaurants, craft shops, well everything you would expect
on a laid back beach. We think that the stretch of coastline covered
by Grand Lido is the best in the area. White sand beach on one side and
shallow limestone coves with private beaches you can easily swim into,
on the other. No wonder it is rated as "Best Beach in the Caribbean
and 6th Best Beach in the World" by the Travel Channel. They have
a seperate clothing optional section that has its own bar, swimming pool
and private beach.
This entire property can be booked. It is regularly
the host to several annual music festivals that reserve the entire resort.
